## Our facilities

Tutorials are inspired by those offered in some British Universities. They consist of a customised guidance on the courses undertaken by the student. The main objectives are:

1) Assisting the student to understand broadly those mathematical concepts interfering with a full understanding of the course.

2) Incentivise curiosity for mathematics, depriving them from its supposedly arid nature with the objective of enhancing the commitment towards them.

3) For the students that are already confortable in their courses, the aim is to incorporate new topics and mathematical ideas which could help them in the future.

The minimum suggested length of these type of courses is of 3 months, 2 hours per week. The cost of tutoring services is 5 thousand Mexican pesos per month.

## Tutoring

## Our facilities

## Customised courses.

These courses are inspired by the tutorial system created by some British universities. Customised courses are 12 weeks long for 2 hours per week (3 hours for students in basic levels). We are flexible with schedules. The course involves weekly marked homework assignments, customised lecture notes, parcial and final exams that will help to rank the student with respect to analogous courses offered by Universities. The syllabus is chosen by the professor based on the needs and background of each student. The maximum capacity of the customised courses is of 2 students. The cost of the individual course is 12 thousand Mexican pesos and 10 thousand if the course is for 2 students.

## Reading Seminar

Reading seminars are inspired by those organised among mathematical researchers around the world. This service is dedicated to groups of students or companies who are interested in incorporating or broaden a certain mathematical subject. Some examples are: analysis of a specialised book as well as research papers, or set the basics to start a new line of investigation either in the private sector or in academy. The working method is as follows: once the objective of the seminar has been set, the professor will give a talk where the subject and difficulties will be summarised. Then the content will be divided among the participants (considering their background) so that they can work on most of the content on their own. The task of the professor will be solving doubts that might come up during the reading process, additionally, he will explain the details that have not been fully digested by the student. These type of courses are directed to groups between 4 and 10 students. They are approximately 16 weeks long, 2 hours per week. The cost of the reading seminars is 4 thousand Mexican pesos per person.
